Biography

Yese Oman Rafiki (real name Kiberu Joshua) was born in 1984 , Mulago Uganda.Yese was raised in Makindye Lukuli. . Yese Oman Rafiki has gone on to make a name in Uganda and East Africa as a Music Composer , Writer and Producer. Yese Oman Rafiki Popularly known as Rafiki went to schools like St. James S.S ,St. Charles Lwanga Kasasa ,Naalya S.S and Makerere University where he attained a Bachelors Degree in Business Computing. After University , Rafiki followed his music talent and he is now well sought in Uganda as a music writer and folk musician. In early 2015 , Yese independently released the Budduda song which he sung for the people in Budduda who were affected by the land slides . Yese has written music and shared studio sessions with various top African artists both in Uganda and outside ranging from upcoming artists and well-recognized and branded artists . Yese is the brain behind Kabulengane one of Bebe cool biggest songs of all time. He has worked with Winnie Nwagi , Radio and Weasel , Irene Ntale , Jose Chameleon ,Kay Switch , Vanessa Mdee among others. Currently , Yese Oman Rafiki is an advertisement guru , the voice behind the Juza internet , Tubaalene Bell , Weza Amaja and Yolesa Jingles.
