Biography

FRANK MUGERWA aka FRANK JAH. I am the CEO/ Director at Jahlive Films. I am a seasoned film and video director, leader and strategist. I run a very professional film company which does documentaries ,films, music videos and commercials. I graduated from Makerere business school with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. I got a diploma certificate in cinematography at Relativity Film School - Los Angeles Hollywood USA in 2016. As a director at Jahlive Films I have helped change how music videos are done in Uganda. I wear many hats in my career as a film and video producer, film and video editor, concept writer, music director and mentor. I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and get solutions to complex challenges. The awards I have received in my work include CLUB MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS in category of best special effects , HIPIPO VIDEO PRODUCER of the year ,RISING STAR VIDEO PRODUCER & many other awards I have done many projects and they include: Sitya loss by Eddy Kenzo(which won the first BET in Uganda), Hellena by Radio & Weasel to mention but a few which brought awards across Africa & the world at large I am a go getter with good people skills. I have big ideas but what separates me from other people with big ideas Is that I execute mine. SPECIALITY : Film and video directing, Film and video editing, Concept writing, Operational management, Computer Generated Imagery, Colour Grading and Training.
